The WRMRRM is an operating model railroad museum that is dedicated to educating children and adults about railroad safety and the joys of model railroading. We offer free admission to the public through sponsorships that we recognize and promote. The museum is over 6,000 square feet with 16 operating and non-operating scale model railroads.
Our Vision-
The WRMRRM was founded in September 2004 with the intent of being a fun place were families could come and learn about model railroading and the history of railroads in America. We have since grown to be the largest museum of our kind in the country. We also felt it was important for our guests to be able to enjoy playing with trains of various scales without having to empty the vacation budget. We have been able to keep the museum free of charge with the help of volunteers and donations.
Programmes and Activities-
Seasonal Open Houses, Model Railroad Promotion Days, Railroad Safety Seminars, Video Seminars, Historical Society Seminars of Interurbans.
